Built In-House
Fabrication, body, paint, assembly, and performance work stay under one roof.
ABOUT EKINS GARAGE
What began as late nights in a home garage became a career dedicated to bringing meaningful vehicles back to life.
Our Story
Derek Ekins moved from the collision industry into the hot rod industry in 2009 and never looked back.
Located in West Jordan, Utah, Ekins Garage brings old-school style together with modern technology. From complete frame-off restorations to performance upgrades and engine swaps, every project is approached with the same goal: build it right, make it personal, and create something worth driving.
Nearly everything is completed in-house, including fabrication, bodywork, paint, and final assembly. The same team that takes a vehicle apart is responsible for putting it back together. That continuity matters. It keeps the vision clear, the workmanship consistent, and the finished build true to the owner.
01
Fabrication, body, paint, assembly, and performance work stay under one roof.
02
Every vehicle is planned around the way it will be used, not just the way it will look.
03
The goal is a vehicle that can be enjoyed now, shown proudly, and passed down later.
What We Do
Keeping the major phases of each project in-house gives us tighter control over quality, fit, finish, and the final result.
The Ekins Garage Philosophy
We build them to drive, to show, and to pass down.
