Bringing the ’59 Chevy Apache Back to Life
This Chevy Apache represents the most extensive restoration our shop has completed to date. Every nut and bolt was either painted, polished, or chromed. This short-bed, four-wheel-drive truck has been owned by the same owner for more than 35 years, and once he committed to the restoration, no detail was overlooked.
The factory chassis was fully boxed and plated, and the paintwork features a meticulous 10-step process highlighted by a Kandy Brandywine main color.
Power comes from a 6.0L engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a 241 manual transfer case, driving one-ton, eight-lug axles.
Additional highlights include an aluminum bed, a 6-inch lift, 35×12.50 tires on 17-inch US Wheel rims, hydroboost brakes, custom inner fenders, a smoothed dash, and reworked bumpers.
Months of custom fabrication and bodywork completed the build, along with a fully custom two-tone interior. The underneath of this truck is arguably nicer than the top!
This truck has won many top awards including AutoRama Best Truck, Utah’s Top 10, and Best Truck in the Event Series at Hot August Nights!
